Citizens Advice Scarborough & District
Citizens Advice Scarborough & District started giving advice to local citizens on the 4th September 1939 and a lot of things have changed since then.
However, our commitment to helping local people find a way through their problems has never changed. Neither has our commitment to being a free, confidential, non-judgemental, impartial and independent service.
We pride ourselves on valuing diversity, championing equality and challenging discrimination. We're here for everyone, whatever the problem.
75% of our workforce are volunteers, who help clients daily. Our volunteer advisers undergo a 6 month training period and are supported by paid supervisors at every step of the advice process.
